It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the virtual home of the International Academy for Leadership in Business and Administration.

Until recently, we lived in a world in which the term "business assets" referred to material things that could be touched. Your assets were your machines, your tools, etc. Nowadays, however, the main valuables in business are intangible: while traditional practices such as audits and evaluations still have the purpose to describe the economic results objectively, they tend to hide and underestimate their deeper reasons: the human resources, the truly strong sides of an organization, its values, the sum of the experience of its endeavors.

A series of dialogues with the participation of leaders from different leading companies, organized at the World Economic Forum, the Investment Symposium of Harvard University, as well as the Conference "Spirit in Business", clearly showed, that it is exactly these intangibles that have the biggest impact and find their most adequate expression in the context of so-called "business-narratives."

The network of the International Academy for Leadership in Business and Administration offers all participants access to a large variety of international resources: ideas and information; methods and technologies, experts and allies. These resources are useful for both an effective evaluation of the qualities and assets of a business, as well as for the full realization of a business potential. The different programs organized by the academy are geared towards assessing and rewarding the existing assets of an organization, and toward the transformation of these assets into tangible results.
