Michael Aizin has acted as legal counsel to the Academy since its inception. In 2001, Mr. Aizin became an officer and director of the Academy and has been instrumental in developing and implementing many of the Academy’s programs and initiatives, together with Dr. Tourevski. Mr. Aizin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Eastern European Studies and Russian Literature in 1980 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He received his Juries Doctor degree in 1985 from Hofstra University. Mr. Aizin is a member of the Bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Mr. Aizin is bilingual and speaks fluently English and Russian languages.
Mr. Aizin, an avid proponent of closer economic and cultural ties between American and Russian people since late 1970s, a time when such ideas were not very popular, has been able to realized his dreams by actually making it possible while a member and director of the Academy.
Mr. Aizin is an Member of the American Society of Association Executives, which believes associations have the power to transform society for the better, and has its goals to connect great ideas and great people. ASAE comprises trade and professional associations, business leagues, chambers of commerce, economic development corporations, and other types of business membership organizations. ASAE now has more than 22,000 association CEOs, staff professionals, industry partners, and consultant. Members and represents more than 287 million people and organizations worldwide. Mr. Aizin is the link between International Academy for Leadership in Business and Administration members and the ASAE member associations and their contacts worldwide.
